The Cause

Every year Fresno City College prepares Welfare-to-Work students for the job market. Unfortunately, many of these students don't have the appropriate professional attire for interviews. Here's your opportunity to assist in this important social cause.

The Call

McCombs & Associates, in collaboration with the phenomenal project partners, is challenging business professionals to donate unwanted professional attire. These items are placed in a "Professional Closet" and are provided to eligible students seeking employment. All donations are tax deductible through the State Center Community College Foundation.

We are seeking the following items for the Professional Closet:

  • Men's & Women's Suits
  • Men's Dress Shirts & Slacks
  • Men's & Women's Coats
  • Women's Blouses, Skirts & Dresses
  • Accessories (Ties, Belts, Scarves, Jewelry, Handbags)
  • Briefcases, Umbrellas

Please provide garments on hangers, cleaned, pressed and in good repair.
